After being in Marketing and Sales for various software and healthcare companies in Northern Virginia, Angela Picarelli wanted to start her own creative and entrepreneurial business with fine stationery and unique gifts.  With the support of her husband Tom and the supervision of her playful canine partners Daisy & Sammie, Island Papers & Specialty Gifts became a reality in 2006.
 
After selling to family & friends and networking at various events the word was spreading about the fun paper products and gifts offered through Island Papers & Specialty Gifts.
 
Now a year later we are representing several lines of fine paper products for our customers. Whether it’s your dream wedding, your baby's baptism, or your child's Sweet Sixteen, Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah, we can find the perfect invitation to fit your style and budget. We also offer fun gifts and favors to compliment the occasion and the best part is the fun of packaging it all up into a personal presentation just for you!

In 2009 we added another canine to the mix! We now have our most playful and energetic little pug Jellybean! Jellybean is our Product Selection Specialist! She gives us the inspiration to find the best stationery and gifts for our clients!
